Bit-Box 2 is an exciting new set of online resources to complement Bit-Box 1 resources.  Accessible to staff and students from school or home, containing a wealth of original and innovative interactive activities, complete with support materials for teachers.  It’s available to schools and a whole school license costs just £35 per year.​

Words of War is a six week project covering the start of the First World War to the signing of the Armistice in 1918.
It is based on actual letters home from the Northumberland Fusiliers Archive in Alnwick.
Each week begins with an animated video which narrates the letter home against a backdrop of images relating to the subject of the letter.
Each week is supported by whiteboard activities, pupil activities, an image bank and music.  The letters take the students through the different stages of the war from conscription, training camp, posted abroad,wounded in action and finally Armistice.

Little Red's Hiding Wood uses rhyme to add a twist to this well known traditional tale.
The Ji-Jaller Bag is an audio book which uses prose, rhyme and repetition, enabling children to predict and join in with this regional traditional tale.

This wonderful interactive story of the Little Gingerbread Man features an absolute wealth of resources as well as the story told in English, French and Spanish.

The story can be read aloud  and animated. It is sure to delight readers of all ages.

The included resources include masks, clip art, printable books and puppets; a fantastic resource for young literacy of MFL of all ages.

Twelve beautifully illustrated and engaging animated poems explore the theme of pirates using a wide range of poetry forms including tongue twisters, action rhymes and narrative storytelling.

​The poems support Year 4 and 5 Units at Key Stage 2.
